CLEARING  YOUR VESSEL INTO SINGAPORE

From 1st April 2016, all vessel whom wish to clear into Singapore will require an agent to assist them with the immigration clearance.

​

The agent has to be inform at least 48 hours of your arrival/departure as the document require ample of time for the Singapore immigration to approve. 

DOCUMENT REQUIRE :

  1.    6 MONTH PASSPORT VALIDITY

  2.    LATEST CRAFT REGISTRY

  3.    LATEST CRAFT INSURANCE

  4.    CRAFT MMSI/IMO/AIS CERTIFICATE

  5.    MASTER/CREW PASSPORT DETAILS

  6.    PASSENGERS PASSPORT DETAILS (IF ANY)

  7.    MASTER/CREW/PASSENGER NRIC/WP/EP (FOR S'PORE PASS HOLDERS)

INFORMATION NEEDED :

  1.    LAST PORT OF CALL

  2.    LAST COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

  3.    DATE OF ARRIVAL

  4.    ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL

  5.    DURATION OF STAY IN SINGAPORE

  6.    MARINA CHOICE OF STAY

  7.    CHOICE OF CLEARANCE AREA (WQIA OR CGPA)**

Below documents will be needed once in Singapore:

​

1.    LAST PORT CLEARANCE (YOUR LAST PORT OF CALL)

2.   LAST CREW LIST

3.   LAST PASSENGER LIST (IF ANY)

  • Once the document and information received, the agent will then proceed to send the details for approval at most 3 days in advance on the date of arrival.

 

  • The system only permit for the clearance to be submitted at most 3 days in advance.

  • For any departure that require longer time, a temporary crew and passenger list will be required to be filled.

 

  • After the document are approved, the agent will forward the crew list and/or passenger list along with the approval documents to be printed out.

       The document will be as follows:

  • ARRIVAL ADVICE (PRINT 2X COPIES)

  • CREW LIST (PRINT 3X COPIES)

  • PASSENGER LIST (PRINT 3X COPIES IF ANY)

***  It is mandatory to have these documents printed out before sailing out from your port.

***  Have all the document prepared along with your passport and proceed to one of two designated CIQ       Clearance.

  1. WESTERN QUARANTINE AND IMMIGRATION ANCHORAGE (WQIA)

2. Changi General Purposes Anchorage (CGPA)

1°19'55" N  104°3'29" E

  • Contact the immigration officer on VHS CHANNEL 74 when you are nearing the vicinity and state the vessel name and your intention clearly.

  • The officers will arrive on a small powerboat to collect the documents along with the passport.Ensure to check that all the passport and crew list and/or passenger list are stamped before proceeding to the next marina.

​

  • Once arrived and berth safetly, contact your agent of your time of arrival and inform them if there any difficulties encounter during the clearing process.

​

  • Do prepare the following documents for your agent to clear your vessel in into the system.

  • LAST PORT CLEARANCE

  • STAMPED CREW LIST 

  • STAMPED PASSENGER LIST (IF ANY)

Ensure to collect back the original stamped crew list and/or passenger list as this will be needed to clear your vessel out to the port.
